Last Saturday we presented at the International Book Fair of Bogota, the Book of the Colombian expedition EPOPEYA EVEREST WITHOUT LIMITS, with whom I shared my climb up to Mt. Everest last year.
This is not a typical mountain book, because it explains how and why of a unique experience, not so much for sports or mountaineering challenge itself, but for all the values, motivations, learning, lessons of leadership and improvement and above all, to show that too often our limits are more mental than real. This last issue has been focused on the figure of Nelson Cardona, who took his leg amputated in order to be able to return to sports and be capable to climb the Everest, the great dream of his life. A dream shared with all the expedition, and Now with all the readers through this book.
Sharing this adventure with Nelson and the entire Colombian team around him has been itself, a fact which fully justifies having done the "7 Summits" project and be continuously investing efforts for organizing all kinds of adventures.
