160 KM FROM SANT JOAN DE LES ABADESSES TO BEGUR THROUGH GR1 AND GR92, ALONE AND IN 3 STAGES.

I just decided to do a new and very exotic challenge, with a great friend and luxury accommodations.

Tomorrow I start to another very special new “little” adventure:

• It will be very exotic: because sometimes we believe that special activities should always be on the other side of the world, and this one will be next to my house, where normally we do not do such special things that allow us to thoroughly enjoy and discover the closer territory. From Sant Joan de les Abadesses (my home town in the Pyrenees) to Begur (Costa Brava) by the GR1 and GR92
• I will do it with the best possible friend: with a person I have known since I was born and with whom I will live until I go to the hole, with whom I laugh a lot and always use to have good conversations and good vibes: Myself (although accompanied by my dog SUD).
• I will sleep in 1,000 stars hotels: we are in summer and there is nothing more pleasant than making a good bivouac in some cool zone of the way. So, with a mat and a sleeping bag, I will be totally free and I will spend very little money during these days.
• I calculate 3 stages between 50 and 60Km. I will run about half of them run, and I will walk quietly the other half (I love both activities, and I do not want to stress). And as in the coming months, I am fully engaged with the new proposals of MARATHON DES SABLES (MDS), by the way, it will be a good training for HALF MDS FUERTEVENTURA (late September), and MDS PERU (late November)

You see … on Sunday the 13th I have to be at a family dinner in Begur, and as I’m afraid to find too much traffic these days of high concentration holiday, I will go walking.

Wow, how easy it is to organize special and exciting things!
