Today wonderful stage: has not been too hot and everything has gone perfect, despite being the longest of the entire Marathon. I hydrated very well, I ate at each control and I was able to run without running out of energy during 90% of the stage.
I left at 12 noon, an hour before the Top5 that started at 13h, and I arrived at 22h20 at the camp. After 10h20 of march I have completed the 78 km corresponding to this stage … good average for me!!
I’ve been running about 3h30 at night, but with a spectacular full moon and all the desert for me. You can’t imagine the sunset that we enjoyed!
Physically I have not worn out excessively; I have found the right rhythm for the distance to travel and this has allowed me to arrive in good conditions. I feel very well, and I only have a small blister pair on my fingers.
Today we have resting stage on the banks of the river ORANGE; a very beautiful place! I will enjoy it delighted!
