EXPEDITION TRACKING

The second day begins with good spirits and winning to recover something from the distance that was left to meet at the first day.

An unusually high temperature for these dates makes the lake surface water beneath the snow layer. Which has led us to modify the track towards a closer route to the coast of the initially foreseen.

In these conditions of snow, although the lack of wind has made the way more comfortable than at the initial stage, we have been able to go 27 Km., enough more than the initial stage but still below the planned average. We hope to regain them during the next stage coming up to the height of the population of Kuzaranda in the inner side of the lake, reach out more than half of the journey.

We go on with very good spirits and the goal of continuing to recover kilometres. And how not, in a day like today, very happy for moving forward on project The Last Ice.
