- A large part of our happiness is directly in our own hands
- We can live better than the rich, and love as much or more deeply than the mega-young and famous
- Intelligence should serve us, above all, for what is most important and most prioritised for each of us: to have a good life

Perhaps the highest and most common priority among all humans on the planet is the desire to live well.
From there, why is so much of one’s intelligence wasted on what is most important?.
Intelligence should not just be about accumulating knowledge and being productive, but about translating knowledge into action, working towards a good quality of life and making good decisions.
In the end, the main goal is to have a good life, isn’t it?.
-We can hardly be as successful and rich as Bezzos, Zuckerberg, Musk or Amancio Ortega. Surely we can’t have their yachts and various luxuries, but we can live much better than them in the use and quality of our time.
-We can hardly be as handsome as Brad Pitt or Cate Blanchet. We may not be able to have glamorous or globally desirable partners, but we can have high quality relationships and feel true love.
-We can hardly be champions like Rafa Nadal, Serena Williams, Leo Messi or Usain Bolt. We may not be able to win the Olympics or the World Cup, but we can fully enjoy sport in all its dimensions at whatever level we wish.
-We can hardly be as educated and smart as Noam Chomsky, Virginia Wolf, Albert Einstein or Marie Curie. We will probably not be able to win a Nobel Prize, but we can connect and enjoy culture and knowledge very much.
-We can hardly have a big impact like Gandhi, Mandela, Rosa Parks or Jane Goodall. We probably won’t solve all the world’s problems, but we can live in balance with our conscience and impact on society and the environment. (and inspire others)
-We can hardly be as wise as the Dalai Lama, Deepak Chopra or Pema Chödrön. We may not reach that level of peace and spirituality, but we can lead and balance a lot our emotional intelligence.
-We can hardly avoid some accidents and illnesses… or grow old and expire. We will certainly not be able to avoid the end that awaits us all, but we can live in health, and this means, above all, taking very good care of it, in the very large part that does depend on us.
A huge part of our happiness is directly in our hands… it only requires one thing: TRULY USE OUR INTELLIGENCE!
