Reconnecting with Nature\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n

The Selvans Association organizes the III International Congress on the Potential of Forests on Health <\/strong>will take place from October 7 to 10 2019 in Girona \u2013 La Garrotxa. The purpose of the Congress is to create a meeting space for the knowledge and exchange of experiences from around the world in the use and valorization of forest ecosystem services.<\/p>\n<\/div>

The program includes more than 20 presentations, roundtables and an exclusive day in the forest, where the participants will be able to know various demonstration projects of forests with therapeutic functionality in the La Garrotxa Volcanic Zone Natural Park<\/em>. At the end of the Congress, there will be a \u201cproclamation for the value of natural forests in the health and wellbeing of societies.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Congress is aimed at people and organizations interested in broadening their knowledge and capacity to conserve and appreciate nature in general, and particularly ecologically valuable forests; those carrying out activities in the natural environment; the owners of public and private forests; professionals, managers, technical and research staff working in the health sciences, wellness, the environment and forest management; postgraduate, master’s and doctoral students studying these subjects.<\/p>\n
