Today I have done "THE STAGE": after the rest day, I left in eleventh position and I have the 9th and 10th to 15 minutes, this meant the last chance to be in the Top 10: Today it was not easy, they announced high temperatures and the distance was long but I found myself in good shape and wanted to try it!
Today wonderful stage: has not been too hot and everything has gone perfect, despite being the longest of the entire Marathon. I hydrated very well, I ate at each control and I was able to run without running out of energy during 90% of the stage.
Today I decided to make my own race, forgetting my colleagues, listening to my body, hydrating much more, eating more at the CP and looking for a balanced rhythm, preparing tomorrow's stage.
Today's stage has been tough, not so much by distance, but by a combination of very complicated terrain: sand and stones and very high temperatures between 43º and 47º.
Today we started the race, I have finished ninth. I am very happy!
